Boboye Oyeyemi Attends 14th WiLAT Nigeria Day Conference and Award Ceremony on Thursday, 6th August 2026

Former Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Boboye Oyeyemi, was in attendance at the 14th Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT) Nigeria Day Conference and Award Ceremony, organised by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). The event held on Thursday, 6th August 2026, at the Oriental Hotel Ball Room, Victoria Island, Lagos, and commenced at 10:00am.

Themed “Driving Results: Time Mastery in Logistics and Transport,” the conference brought together stakeholders, professionals, and thought leaders across the logistics and transportation sector to deliberate on strategies for efficiency, productivity, and effective time management within the industry.

WiLAT Nigeria, known for championing the cause of women in logistics and transport under the mantra “Stronger Together,” used the occasion to celebrate outstanding contributions to the sector while charting a path for continued growth and inclusion of women in logistics-related fields.

Mr. Oyeyemi, whose distinguished career in road safety and transport administration spans decades, was welcomed as one of the dignitaries at the event. His presence underscored the importance of collaboration between transport safety advocates and logistics professionals in building a more efficient and sustainable transportation ecosystem in Nigeria.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, he commended WiLAT Nigeria for its consistency in driving conversations around excellence and time management in the logistics space, noting that such initiatives are vital to national development and safer, more efficient road transport systems.

The event featured goodwill messages, panel sessions, and an award ceremony recognising individuals and organisations for their impact on the logistics and transport industry.
