Campaign Manifesto
Dr. Boboye Olayemi Oyeyemi, Ph.D., MFR, mni, NPoM, FCILT
Candidate for National President — Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT) Nigeria
Opening Statement
I stand for a CILT Nigeria that is professionally stronger, more visible, more inclusive, and practically indispensable to employers and public policy. Drawing on a lifetime of service in transport leadership, institution-building, and capacity development, I offer a results-driven agenda to grow membership, align the road transport sector with the Institute, and secure broad employer recognition for CILT qualifications — thereby raising standards, improving careers, and advancing national logistics capacity.

Vision
A resilient, internationally-recognised CILT Nigeria that leads professional standards, builds capacity at scale, and bridges industry, government and academia to deliver safe, sustainable and competitive transport and logistics services for Nigeria.
Mission
To transform CILT Nigeria into the preferred professional home for logistics and transport practitioners by:
- Growing and diversifying membership,
- Making CILT qualifications the benchmark employers prize,
- Strengthening institutional systems, digital services and professional development,
- Deepening sector partnerships — especially across road transport — and
- Projecting Nigeria’s leadership within CILT International and Africa.
Guiding Principles
- Professionalism: Standards and qualifications that meet industry needs.
- Practical Impact: Training and advocacy that deliver measurable improvements in operations and safety.
- Inclusivity: Opportunities for NextGen, women, regions and informal-sector practitioners.
- Transparency & Accountability: Clear governance, public reporting and member-centered service.
