Former Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Boboye Oyeyemi, was among the dignitaries in attendance at the book launch organised by Borderless Educational Services and Training, held on Wednesday, 12th August 2026, at the Command Officer’s Mess, Asokoro, Abuja.

The event marked the public presentation of a new literary work authored by Col. (Dr.) Abiola Olufemi Olayiwola (Rtd), themed around “Strengthening Peace and Security of a Nation,” a timely contribution to national discourse on security, unity, and nation-building.

The programme, which commenced at 11:00am, brought together scholars, security professionals, friends, and well-wishers of the author to celebrate the release of the book and its message on fostering peace and security across the country.

Mr. Oyeyemi, whose career has long been intertwined with public safety and national service, joined other guests in celebrating the author’s literary achievement, commending his efforts in documenting valuable insights on peace and security for the benefit of present and future generations.

Speaking at the event, he described the book as a timely and thoughtful contribution to ongoing conversations on national security, urging policymakers, security agencies, and citizens alike to draw lessons from its content.

The book launch featured goodwill messages, a formal presentation and review of the book, as well as words of commendation for the author’s dedication to scholarship and national development.
